What is the difference between K-1 Kerosene and Heating Oil?
K-1 Kerosene is a more highly refined fuel than #2 Heating Oil. It has fewer impurities, a lower freezing point, and burns cleaner. K-1 is required for many indoor heaters (like Monitor or Laser heaters) and outdoor tanks that are exposed to extreme cold, as it resists "gelling."
